RESPONSE TO RESEARCH QUESTION
-King Shaka had a fierce father named King Panda he was known for starting wars.
-King Shaka invented a weapon that was a long dagger, called an "assagai."
-The zulu tribe fought many wars with the Xhosa and won most of them, one of the wars was for a fresh water river which they can drink and use. The Zulu tribe won the war.
-The British conquered the Zulu's in 1849
-They are Christian now but they used to have their own religion, known as the Zulu religion they believed in the god ''Nkulunluku''
-They celebrate a holiday of King Shaka which they dress up in warrior out-fits and dance with drum music.
-Their main jobs now is farming and mining.
-At funerals they used to drink animal blood and dance.
-King Shaka was a great warrior & battled against other tribes especialy the Xhosa tribe for their extra land.
-They make their houses out of mud, wood and elephant dung.
-They eat goats, gazelles, cows, elephants, sometimes even parts of crocodiles and many other exotic creatures.

There are 7 million people to this day part of the zulu tribe.
-They live in cone shaped houses
-The "assagai " is what made king shaka so important because he invented it. The assagai is a long dagger, almost a spear which takes a lot of braveness for warriors to use.
-Shaka's strategy was simple, his initial attacks came against smaller groups giving him an easy victory. Then he offered the survivors the choice to die or to join his clan. Those who joined King Shaka, as most of them did, had to join King Shaka's Tribe. The new warriors were trained the Zulu style of war.
